2008 COPK National Seminar
This is the schedule for the 2008 COPK National Seminar. We recommend that you print this out, along with addresses, maps, directions, and anything else you need to navigate to the locations.

Friday, August 8

Meeting Location: Engineering Center courtyard, CU Boulder campus, Boulder, CO - MAP

12:00 PM - Meeting time
12:15 PM - Warm-up
12:30 PM - Beginner workshops, open training
05:00 PM - BBQ at Eben G. Fine Park, Boulder, CO

Training Synopsis: Everyone will meet at the Engineering Center courtyard area directly adjacent to Regent Dr. The jam will start at 12 PM. Training will be held around the CU Boulder campus and will later move on to Boulder High School and Settler's Park.

Evening Location: Eben G Fine Park, Boulder, CO - MAP

Evening Synopsis: The park is right across the road and river from Red Rocks, Boulder. We will head over here after we are done at Red Rocks. There will be plenty to do including swimming, tubing, and playgrounds, rocks, and grassy areas to jump around on! You are on your own for food this night so find something quick and come back to the park for fun times!

Saturday, August 9

Meeting Location: Cat Fountain, Skyline Park, Denver, CO - MAP

10:00 AM - Meeting time

10:30 AM - Beginner workshops, open training
05:00 PM - BBQ at Will Schulz's house - MAP

Training Synopsis: Everyone will meet at Cat Fountain at 10 AM. Training will be held at Skyline Park and several other locations around downtown Denver.

Sunday, August 10

Meeting Location: Red Rocks Amphitheater, Morrison, CO - MAP

10:00 AM - Meeting time
10:15 AM - Warm-up
10:30 AM - Beginner workshops, open training
05:00 PM - BBQ at Lion's Park, Golden, CO - MAP

Training Synopsis: Everyone will meet at the top of the amphitheater seating in the large courtyard/overlook area. Make sure to park in the top parking lot (you must go through a small tunnel to get there). We will train in the amphitheater and later go out onto the rocks.

Monday, August 11

Meeting Location: Colorado School of Mines, Golden, CO - MAP

12:00 PM - Meeting time
12:15 PM - Warm-up
12:30 PM - Beginner workshops, open training

Training Synopsis: Everyone will meet at the starting location at 12 PM. In the center of the Mines campus, there is a large grassy park area. On one side of the area, there are 3 tall column/spires. These can be seen by driving to the end of 15th. St. (you will come to a dead end roundabout and will need to find somewhere to park).
