| Westword Article Mistake
The Westword newspaper recently ran an article about the Denver Parkour Academy. Unfortunately, there was a
mistake in the article. Classes will not be held at Gym Riki on Sundays, they will be on Tuesday and Thursdays instead.

| Back From Europe
Ryan Ford and Matt Marshall are back from parkour trip to France and England. They trained intensively
for 3 weeks alongside some of the best practitioners in the world including the Yamakasi, Parkour
Generations, Livewire, and many other leaders from all over Europe who converged in Evry for the Yamakasi
seminar. This Sunday, Ryan and Matt will host a jam in downtown Denver at which they will share a lot of
their new knowledge and experiences from the trip.

| Off to Europe
Ryan Ford and Matt Marshall are off to France/England for 3 weeks. They will be accompanied by Michael
Alosi, a recent CU photojournalism graduate who has been working with COPK on a documentary for the past
year. They will be meeting up with the Yamakasi, Parkour Generations, Urban
Freeflow, and others to meet, train, and learn as much as possible. Matt and Ryan will be back
on June 3rd ready to share their new knowledge and experiences at the Colorado Parkour Academies starting
in early June.

| Leave No Trace
Today, in conjunction with the Boulder Parkour Academy, over 25 local traceurs participated in the Leave
No Trace initiative in which traceurs all around the country helped clean up trash from their training grounds.
The COPK traceurs filled many trash bags as they trained around the CU Boulder campus.

| Happy New Year!
From COPK to all you traceurs out there, we'd like to wish you a Happy New Year!
This year, COPK had 16000 unique visitors, 400% more than last year! 2007 also saw many new exciting
things for parkour in Colorado. Some of the highlights include the National Jam in August, parkour
being introduced into schools, and media appearances in ESPN's E:60, New Yorker Magazine, the
Rocky Mountain News, and more. COPK had a successful year in training and through the advancement of
parkour as a known and respected discipline in the state.
Parkour is growing at a faster rate than ever so from COPK, have a safe and successful year of parkour.
Train hard and always work to be useful and make positive contributions to others in your
community through parkour!
